Grace honors those who faithfully intercede for wayward or missing loved ones. A place is set at the table in hope of their immanent return. The table signifies the fellowship of restoration.

Most paintings, particularly more complex figural works, require drawn or painted preliminary studies to work out the desired action or design. This, and several others in this exhibition, exemplify the process.
